Join us in celebrating National Geographic's 125th anniversary with the world premiere of the play BELL. Written by veteran journalist, author, and playwright-yes, playwright-Jim Lehrer, starring celebrated Washington actor Rick Foucheux, and directed by Jeremy Skidmore, this one-man play reveals the extraordinary life of Alexander Graham Bell. The production will open at National Geographic headquarters tonight, September 12, and will run through Saturday, September 21.

The Keegan Theatre has extended their production of Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men through September 14, 2013. First produced on Broadway in 1989 and inspiring an Academy Award-nominated film of the same name, Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial who uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients, two United States Marines accused of murder. Based on events that took place at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in July 1986, A Few Good Men is a riveting courtroom drama that investigates both the nature of our military mentality and the Marine code of honor. A hit on the Broadway stage, A Few Good Men is as timely today as the day it was written!

The sordid tale of Leopold and Loeb is the subject of NEVER THE SINNER now receiving a strong production at 1st Stage in Tysons. Directed by Jeremy Skidmore, the play is carefully crafted and is a winning blend of theatrical bravura, sexual tension, calculating criminals, and period flair. Stephen Russell Murray and Alex Mandell also give tour-de-force performances.
