Westport Country Playhouse will kick off its 93rd season with the sassy and sultry musical celebration, “Ain’t Misbehavin’: The Fats Waller Musical,” winner of the 1978 Tony Award® for Best Musical, from April 11 through April 29.
Alongside versions of Fly To The Rainbow, In Trance, Virgin Killer and Humanity (Hour 1), remastered for the first time ever, are further handpicked treasures including Savage Amusement, World Wide Live, Love at First Sting, Blackout, Animal Magnetism, Lovedrive, Tokyo Tapes and Taken By Force.
It will feature hits from the likes of Coldplay and Adele, as well as remastered versions of songs on the original album by Bowie, Pink Floyd, The Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, and more. Originally conceived by producers Don Reedman and Jeff Jarratt, the original ‘Classic Rock’ became a mix of rock and pop songs rearranged in an orchestral style.
