A Doll's House, Part 2 Photos - Broadway

Charlotte Conservatory Theatre will present A Doll’s House, Part 2, its third full production and first at the Mint Museum Randolph’s intimate performance space, August 3 - 13, 2023. Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the nation’s premier ensemble theater company, is opening its stunning new in-the-round Ensemble Theater in Honor of Helen Zell with ensemble member Yasen Peyankov’s extraordinarily funny and lyrical adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s Seagull, April 28–June 12, 2022.

Dutch Kills Theater is presenting the New York Premiere of THE ANTELOPE PARTY by Eric John Meyer. It is directed by 2017 Lucille Lortel Award winner Jess Chayes (HOME/SICK, Half Moon Bay) with dramaturgy by Sarah Lunnie (What the Constitution Means to Me, Grand Horizons, Hillary and Clinton, A Doll’s House Part 2). 

 Actors' Equity Association has presented the company members of Head over Heels with the 12th Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2018-2019 season.

When Henrik Ibsen's Nora slammed the door shut on her marriage in A Doll's House, it was said to be the slam heard around the world.

2017 Broadway smash-hit A Doll's House, Part 2 is set to hit Aurora Theatre's mainstage from January 10 - February 10. Based on the characters of the Henrik Ibsen classic play, this follow-up story imagines what would happen if Nora Helmer returned home, 15 years after she slams the door on her husband and family. Audiences don't need to be familiar with the original story to enjoy this "Part 2," as playwright Lucas Hnath juxtaposes contemporary and classic sensibilities to create a thought-provoking and sharp-witted comedy.

A Doll's house, part 2 (Nukkekoti osa 2) at the Helsinki City Theatre is minimalistic statement, almost a rantlike play, emphasizing the chemistries of the characters, with usage of prop - and sound-details that phase the play and bring more drama on stage.

In this contemporary take on an imagined sequel, Nora (Kellie Overbey of Broadway's The Coast of Utopia) returns to the door she famously slammed 15 years earlier with unfinished business on her mind. Nominated for eight 2017 Tony Awards, The New York Times called the new play 'smart, funny and utterly engrossing' and dubbed it 'The Best Play of the Year'. A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2, written by Lucas Hnath, took Broadway by storm when it opened in 2017.  This "explosively funny new play" (The Hollywood Reporter) is the comedic follow-up to Ibsen's classic dramatic masterpiece. Philadelphia audiences will be able to experience A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2 as the Arden Theatre Company presents the regional premiere of Hnath's smashing new play.  Performances are underway now through December 9 at the Arden's Arcadia Stage.

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) will soon present the third show of its 2017-18 season: the World Premiere of Relevance, written by J. Lee ('How to Get Away With Murder,' 'Looking') with direction by Tony Award nominee Liesl Tommy(Eclipsed).

Last night, Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang presented the 2017 Kesselring Prize to rising young playwright Lauren Yee at the National Arts Club. Ms. Yee earned the Kesselring for her play THE GREAT LEAP, to be produced this season by Denver Center, Seattle Rep and Atlantic Theater Company.

Tony Award-winner Julie White, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Erin Wilhelmi, have joined Tony Award-winner Jayne Houdyshell in the Broadway cast of Lucas Hnath's hit play, A Doll's House, Part 2. Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents the world premiere production ofPass Over by Antoinette Nwandu, directed by Danya Taymor. South Coast Repertory is producing the world premiere of Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2 on the Julianne Argyros Stage, April 9-30. As previously announced, a production opens on Broadway at the end of April.
