Court Theatre, under the leadership of Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director Charles Newell and Executive Director Stephen J. Albert, announces casting for the Chicago premiere of The Hard Problem by Tom Stoppard, directed by Charles Newell. The Hard Problem runs March 9 - April 9, 2017 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue in Chicago.

Five plays by Steven Carl McCasland will be presented in repertory during a month-long celebration of the young playwright. Each play focuses on a different character from history, with a cast of 25 portraying such historical figures as Laurette Taylor, Rose Kennedy, Tennessee Williams, Agatha Christie, Joseph Goebbels, Gertrude Stein, Lillian Hellman and John F. Teatro Vista kicks off its 2012-13 season with the world premiere of i put the fear of mexico in 'em, a humorous, bold work by Matthew Paul Olmos about an American couple vacationing in Tijuana who stumble off the beaten path and are accosted by a Mexican couple in an alley. i put the fear of mexico in 'em runs now through December 9, 2012 at Chicago Dramatists, 1105 W. The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) will begin previews for KING LEAR, directed by James Macdonald, on Tuesday, October 18. KING LEAR will run through Sunday, November 20 in The Public's Newman Theater with an official press opening on Tuesday, November 8.

The cast of the Roundabout's The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore, by Tennessee Williams and directed by Michael Wilson met the press yesterday, December 21. The cast includes Curtis Billings (Giulio), Elisa Bocanegra (Simonetta), Olympia Dukakis (Flora Goforth), Edward Hibbert (Witch of Capri), Maggie Lacey (Frances Black), Darren Pettie (Christopher Flanders). Rupert Goold directs Michael Gambon, David Bradley, David Walliams and Nick Dunning in Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, at the Duke of York's Theatre. The production is currently booking until 3 January 2009. A Gate Theatre, Dublin production, No Man's Land is presented by Sonia Friedman Productions and Michael Colgan, with design by Giles Cadle, lighting by Neil Austin and sound and music by Adam Cork. Goold's production transfers to London following its opening at the Gate Theatre, Dublin in August.
