Painter Ektor Rivera has revealed his stunning mural showcasing the career of legendary EGOT winner Rita Moreno. The mural, which Rivera spent months creating, was commissioned by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Luis A. Miranda, and Ender Vega. Moreno starred on the short-lived '9 to 5' television series in 1982 and 1983. She played Violet Newstead, the character originated in the movie by Lily Tomlin and eventually played on Broadway by Allison Janney.

Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini AM and leading theatre producer John Frost AM will present a brand new production of Lerner and Loewe's masterpiece My Fair Lady at the Joan Sutherland Theatre, Sydney Opera House in 2016, celebrating the iconic musical's 60th anniversary. My Fair Lady will be directed by world-renowned actor and director Dame Julie Andrews with choreography by Tony Award-winning Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, The King and I, South Pacific). A longtime resident of East Atlantic Beach, L.I., she died Sunday, Feb. 1 at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside of complications from surgery.

The story deals with the experiences of the British schoolteacher, who is hired as part of the King's drive to modernize his country. The relationship between the King and Anna is marked by conflict through much of the play, as well as by a love that neither is able to express.
