Epic Megalopolis Productions (New York/Los Angeles) will produce a concert reading of Swedish pop band Brainpool's new rock opera JUNK on November 17th and 19th at the National Opera Center in New York City. JUNK will be the first rock opera presented in the new recital hall opened by Opera America earlier this year, a venue dedicated to supporting the creation, presentation, and enjoyment of opera. Maine State Music Theatre opens its 54th season with the Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon A CHORUS LINE. Starting the season off with a high kick, A CHORUS LINE opens at the Pickard Theater on Wednesday, June 6th and runs until June 23rd. FINIAN'S RAINBOW star Cheyenne Jackson is joining the cast of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series '30 Rock.' Jackson's first episode on the hit comedy series was last night, Thursday November 12th. The episode is titled 'THE PROBLEM SOLVERS' and also featured Top Chef star Padma Lakshmi.

LAST CALL, is a new documentary film by Christopher Ashley that explores the fascinating, cultural phenomenon of piano bars.
