Initial casting has been announced for the Broadway production of the acclaimed musical TAMMY FAYE. Two-time Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben will recreate her Olivier Award-winning performance as Tammy Faye Bakker, and Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells will reprise his Olivier-nominated performance as Jim Bakker. TAMMY FAYE will begin preview performances on October 19th and will officially open on November 14th, 2024 at Broadway's Palace Theater. 

BACK TO THE FUTURE The Musical will extend to 22 December 2024 at the Adelphi Theatre in London's West End. Today marks the musical's 1000th performance in the West End. Tickets are on sale now.

The Public Theater has revealed the 10 new playwrights have been selected for the 2023-2025 Emerging Writers Group.

New casting has been announced for Hamilton in the West End, who will have their first performance at the Victoria Palace Theatre on 19 June 2023 where tickets are currently on sale to 2 March 2024.

Theatre 20 kicked off it's 2011-2012 concert season on Monday May 9th with The Story Begins, an evening of songs from story driven musicals. Today Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced an addition to the royally talented cast of You, Nero. Mike McShane - the popular comic who became a regular on Whose Line is it Anyway? - takes the local stage for the first time in more than 20 years to perform in this smart and sassy show.

Even as it announces a new season filled with hot plays and another show bound for Broadway, Berkeley Repertory Theatre concludes its current season with the world premiere of a smart and sassy script featuring favorite local artists: You, Nero, a new comedy written by Amy Freed and directed by Sharon Ott, rules the Thrust Stage this spring. Starring Danny Scheie as the preposterous emperor of ancient Rome, You, Nero begins previews on May 15, opens May 20, and closes June 28.
