Emmy Award Winning Comedian John Mulaney aims to recapture the magic of that bygone television era when children sang songs about their feelings with celebrity guests on funky outdoor sets. The result: John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch. 

Bumps is a new Comedy Playhouse special for BBC One written by Lucy Montgomery and Rhys Thomas, made by Kudos (part of Endemol Shine UK).

USA Network has set the cast and director for the pilot MASTERS OF DOOM. The pilot will star Eduardo Franco ('Booksmart'), Patrick Gibson ('The OA'), John Karna ('Valley of the Boom'), Jane Ackermann ('Neptune') and Siobhan Williams ('Deadly Class'). Peter Friedman ('Succession') will recur as a guest star.

 IFC will honor the work of legendary documentarian and filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker tonight by repeating two episodes of its critically-acclaimed series Documentary Now! that were based on Pennebaker Films.

IFC and Lakeshore Records announced today that three-time Emmy-nominated series Documentary Now! has taken its commitment to the comedic artform to new extremes. 'Original Cast Album: Co-op,' the meticulously crafted and 2019 Emmy-nominated episode about the cast album recording of the 1970 'Broadway musical' Co-op, will release its long-awaited Original Cast Album digitally on July 26, with proceeds donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The original cast album will include the soon-to-be Marie's Crisis classics 'Holiday Party (I Did a Little Cocaine Tonight),' which will be available as an instant grat track on all preorders beginning Friday, July 19, and solo anthem 'I Gotta Go,' both sure to bring piano bar patrons to their feet with every rising note. IFC will also be publishing sheet music so everyone can make their Co-op sing-along dreams a reality. The song 'Holiday Party (I Did a Little Cocaine Tonight),' with lyrics by John Mulaney & Seth Meyers and music by Eli Bolin was recently nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music & Lyrics.

Space Spectacular is a musical celebration of music associated with space and beyond. Featuring well-known classical pieces, along with iconic film soundtracks set to an impressive laser show, it is clear why the show has been revived for a fifth season at London's Royal Albert Hall.

On Friday night, June 7 at 1AM (Saturday morning) IFC will air a sing-along version of “Original Cast Album: Co-Op”. The special episode will also be available on demand and on the IFC app. Snubbed by the American Theater Wing's Tony Awards® in 1970, even though it only ran for one performance, “Co-Op” is re-taking the theater world by storm thanks to being featured in Season 52 of the critically-acclaimed IFC series Documentary Now!. Though the Tony Awards® faltered, many are wondering if the Emmys® will take notice.

IFC announced today that it has renewed Documentary Now!, for a 53rd season. The series is produced by Broadway Video and created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, Rhys Thomas and executive produced by Lorne Michaels. IFC has ordered 7 episodes for the upcoming season, however no air date has been announced because Fred, Bill and Seth are super busy.

IFC has released a first look at the Sondheim-themed episode of DOCUMENTARY NOW! The episode will parody D.A. Pennebaker's classic making-of Company documentary, in an episode called 'Original Cast Album: Co-Op.' 

On last night's episode of 'Late Night with Seth Meyers,' John Mulaney stops by to talk about the Stephen Sondheim-themed episode of Documentary Now!, his lifelong love of musicals, and why he wasn't allowed to perform in his high school's theater productions.

On Tuesday, February 19 (7:30pm) IFC Center will feature a one-time only presentation of director D.A. Pennebaker's 1970 classic Original Cast Album: Company that documents inside the studio recording of the album for the Stephen Sondheim musical Company. The film has become a Broadway cult classic for capturing the pressure cooker environment that culminates with Elaine Stritch undergoing multiple retakes of the song 'The Ladies Who Lunch.' The event will also include a Q&A with Pennebaker and special guests.

Vulture will return to Park City, Utah, with its exclusive media studio the Vulture Spot for a third year in a row from January 25–28, where editors will interview and photograph top talent from Sundance's most anticipated films. The video and photo content produced inside the studio will be showcased on vulture.com and Vulture's Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts over the course of the festival and beyond. Vulture today announced the lineup for its second annual Vulture Festival Los Angeles Presented by AT&T, a weekend of high-profile events bringing the entertainment site to life, and an expansion of the pop-culture extravaganza that has taken place in New York City for the last five years. Vulture Festival Los Angeles's lineup includes actors in conversation, exclusive screenings, cast reunions, live podcasts, a comedy show, table reads, a private museum tour, and more, taking place November 17–18, primarily at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles, with select events at other venues. DOC NYC, America's largest documentary festival, announced the full lineup for its ninth edition, running November 8-15 at the IFC Center in Greenwich Village and Chelsea's SVA Theatre and Cinepolis Chelsea. The 2018 festival includes 135 feature-length documentaries among over 300 films and events overall. Included are 42 world premieres and 17 U.S. or North American premieres, with more than 500 doc makers and special guests expected in person to present their films or participate on panels.

The Paley Center for Media today announced the schedule for PALEYFEST NY 2018, which will take place October 5-18, 2018. This two-week celebration of television brings together the cast and creative teams of today's most acclaimed and popular TV shows for screenings and interactive panel discussions taking place at The Paley Center for Media in New York City.

In the previously announced episode 'Waiting for the Artist,' Blanchett stars as a world-renowned performance artist who feels pressured to put on the show of her life. Season 52 is set to premiere Wednesday, February 20 at 10PM with seven all-new episodes airing only on IFC.
