Known for lovingly paying homage to the world of documentaries, Documentary Now! Season 53 will debut with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, October 19 at 10 PM on IFC, and on AMC+ the same day. New episodes will debut weekly on Wednesdays. Starting September 1, AMC+ will be the exclusive home of previous seasons of Documentary Now!.

The two-part, season premiere episode, “Soldier of Illusion,” written by John Mulaney and starring Alexander Skarsgård (The Northman, Big Little Lies), Nicholas Braun (Succession, Zola) and August Diehl (Inglourious Basterds), was inspired by the Werner Herzog-focused documentary Burden of Dreams.

Volume 2 includes the all-new original song “Save The City,” composed by Tony , Emmy and Grammy Award-winning composer Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Tony Award-winning lyricist Scott Wittman.  The song is featured in the first episode of the series while Clint Barton is attending “Rogers the Musical” with his family.

In the new featurette “Yelena’s Back,” Florence Pugh and Hailee Steinfeld join directors Rhys Thomas and Bert & Bertie to celebrate the return of Pugh’s fiery assassin to the MCU. The series also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Watch the new featurette now!

From Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye,” now streaming on Disney+, the Hawkeye: Vol. 1 (Episodes 1-3) soundtrack with score by Emmy -nominated composer Christophe Beck (“WandaVision,” “Free Guy,” “Frozen 2”) and composer/multi-instrumentalist Michael Paraskevas.

From the trailer, fans noticed Hawkeye, also known as Clint Barton, takes a trip to Broadway to see Rogers: The Musical. BroadwayWorld previously reported that Tony Award-winning 'Hairspray' composing team, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, are behind the music for the show.

Disney+ has given fans another look at the fictional Steve Rogers: The Musical with a new trailer for their upcoming Hawkeye series! The new six-episode event stars Jeremy Runner as Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. Vera Farmiga, Tony Dalton, and Brian D'Arcy James are also featured in the new series. Introducing Sasha Regan's ALL-MALE THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE cast. They have boarded the pirate ship and are on route to the Palace Theatre for 2 nights, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December. The ship is carrying a star crew of burly pirates and an abundance of lasses in petticoats and plenty of rum! What's not to love!

Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood, better known by their pen names Bert and Bertie, have been hired to direct a few episodes of Marvel's upcoming Hawkeye series. Rhys Thomas is also joining the series as a director.
