The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Network will host a post-show talk back on Wednesday, March 20 following the 7pm performance in partnership with American Express. Participants include NETWORK stars Bryan Cranston (All The Way, "Breaking Bad"), Tony Goldwyn ("Scandal," Promises, Promises) and Tatiana Maslany ("Orphan Black," Mary Page Marlowe). The National Theatre production of NETWORK, produced by David Binder, the National Theatre, Patrick Myles, David Luff, Ros Povey and Lee Menzies, will extend performances through Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street). This is the second and final extension for the limited engagement. Starring Bryan Cranston (All The Way, "Breaking Bad"), Tony Goldwyn ("Scandal," Promises, Promises) and Tatiana Maslany ("Orphan Black," Mary Page Marlowe), NETWORK officially opened to rave reviews on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

Television series creator-showrunner Jenji Kohan (Orange is the New Black, Weeds) has been named the recipient of the Writers Guild of America West's 2019 Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Writing Achievement, presented to a Guild member who has “advanced the literature of television and made outstanding contributions to the profession of the television writer.” She will be honored at the WGAW's 2019 Writers Guild Awards L.A. show on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
