On May 9, three high school students will experience the joy of live theatre in a whole new way - as playwrights. Hannah Ginste (of Riverside, CT), Noah Vienne (of Rye, NY) and Lulu Tagger (of Rye, NY) were named winners of The Palace Theatre's 2022 Ernie DiMattia Emerging Young Artist Awards for their writing of an original one-act play.

And the production that inaugurated the company is back again, nestled into it's home stage, which may never have been dreamt of 30 years ago. Irishman Samuel Beckett's WAITING FOR GODOT is on the boards and audiences can once again ponder it's genius and complexity. Written in French in 1953 and later translated into English by Beckett himself, GODOT is undoubtedly one of his most produced and debated pieces.

The Palace Theatre today announced the installation of AtmosAir Solutions' bi-polar ionization technology to improve indoor air quality throughout their entire three floors, including the Main Stage, UpStage, public areas and offices. The addition of the BPI technology will help improve wellness and provide cleaner air for all patrons, staff, volunteers, performers and backstage crew.

After 20 months of sitting on a darkened stage at Shea's 710 Theatre, All For One Theatre Productions dusted off the set that has sat idle for the brilliant production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME. The production closed on opening night in March 2020, never being able to be seen by a paying audience due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Now with a vaccinated and masked audience, the abundance of talent that went into making this production can now be seen. It was definitely worth the wait.

THE WASTE LAND by T.S. Eliot and starring Lisa Ramirez in a bravura solo performance will stream starting Thursday, April 29 at 8 p.m. (Pacific), and be available for viewers on demand through May 19, it has been announced by Oakland Theater Project, where Ms. Ramirez has been performing the newly-adapted, hourlong play in a parking lot, accompanied by an original soundtrack, video and multimedia.
