The years have been extraordinarily kind to Christine Andreas. The timbre and fidelity of her voice, the beauty in her face, and the spirit of her spunky personality, have defied the aging process. So much so that after being in the audience at The Kravis Center last night for her show Piaf- No Regrets (which I have seen several times at different venues), I revisited my observations and photos of her from past engagements. My prior impressions of Christine are as true today as they were then, as Christine enters her 7th decade.

As the old joke goes “he has a face for radio”….Well, Bob Merrill, Legends Radio host and interviewer, also has the face, demeanor, and musicianship to be a vocalist/bandleader. He brought the group Sunnnyside Swing to the Persson Hall at The Kravis Center last night for an evening of hits from The Great American Songbook.

Dave Lawrence, President & CEO of the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County today announced that the first event of CULTURE & COCKTAILS, originally scheduled for January 10, has been postponed to Monday, May 9. The decision was made with an abundance of caution and concern for guests and staff due to the current surge of COVID infections. All current RSVPs/tickets for next Monday will be honored for the new date at no additional cost.

Rob Russell survived the pandemic and two heart operations this past year so his return to the stage caused a joyous celebration last night at the Pelican Cafe Cabaret. His Palm Beach fans gave him a standing ovation as they sang “It’s so nice to have you back where you belong” to “Mr. Palm Beach”.

She began her 4 night engagement last evening in the Wick Cabaret. (The Wick Theatre will be opening shortly).
