The Kentucky Center is offering a wide variety of entertainment as it opens its 33rd performing arts season. Fall performances will feature legendary musician Bob Dylan and His Band, country superstar Vince Gill, the interpretive dance troupe Pilobolus, host and creator of This American Life Ira Glass, local sensation and season nine winner of The Voice, Jordan Smith and many others.

Once again rekindling their synonymous holiday music magic, multi-platinum GRAMMY winners Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith will co-bill their popular symphony-filled Christmas tour this year, joined by Republic recording artist Jordan Smith, Season 9 winner of NBC's The Voice. Incorporating a full symphony orchestra at each performance, this seasonal crowd-pleaser will perform at the Fox Theatre on Sunday, November 27 at 7 p.m.

?York Little Theatre, now named The Belmont Theatre, will present the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING & I, a musical on the main stage, June 17-19 & 23-26. It is 1862 in Siam when an English widow and her young son arrive at the Royal Palace in Bangkok, to serve as tutor to the king's many children and wives.  With both keeping a firm grip on their respective traditions and values, they both grow to understand and respect one another in a truly unique love story.  The classic musical includes well known favorites including "Whistle A Happy Tune," "Getting To Know You,"  "We Kiss In A Shadow," "Something Wonderful," and the show stopping "Shall We Dance," to name a few.

Viewer engagement for Disney's presentation of the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards was at an all-time high according to the latest viewing data and results from multiple platforms, including social media. For its nine telecasts to-date on Disney Channel and Disney XD, the music awards show for families has reached 11.4 million Total Viewers, 6.8 million Kids ages 2-17 and 3.3 million Adults 18-49.  Nearly one third of Kids 2-17 watched the telecast with an adult.
