La Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal), a través de la Coordinación Nacional de Artes Visuales, en colaboración con el Fideicomiso para los Museos Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo, la Fundación Diego Rivera, AC, y el Museo Casa Diego Rivera iniciaron un homenaje nacional a la historiadora y promotora del patrimonio mexicano: Guadalupe Rivera Marín en la Sala Manuel M. Ponce del Palacio de Bellas Artes.
