The Audio Publishers Association has announced finalists for the 2023 Audie Awards®, the premier awards program recognizing distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment. Winners across 26 competitive categories will be revealed at the Audie Awards Gala on March 28. The ceremony will be streamed to the public from Chelsea Piers’ Pier Sixty in NYC. 

On March 8, literary icon Margaret Atwood takes the stage at Symphony Space to host a Selected Shorts event devoted to her first book of short fiction in almost a decade.

Jazz at Princeton University, helmed by acclaimed saxophonist/composer Rudresh Mahanthappa, and the McCarter Theatre kick off a new partnership on Saturday, February 11 with “For the Love of It,” a concert celebrating life, love, and culture through diverse musical styles and composers.

McCarter Board Chair, W. Rochelle Calhoun has announced that the McCarter Board's  Executive Committee has voted to hire veteran arts leader Susie Medak to fill the role of Interim Managing  Director effective immediately. Arts Consulting Group (ACG) conducted the search to place Ms. Medak in  this leadership role for McCarter.  

 WDET presents An Evening With David Sedaris, author of the previous bestsellers Calypso, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and regular National Public Radio contributor will be appearing for one night only at the Fisher Theatre on April 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced the 2023 winter and spring season at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. Symphony Space, a home for unforgettable events that happen one time only and only at Symphony Space, has announced the lineup for Selected Shorts: Back to School, produced Wednesday, September 28, at 7pm EST for in-person audiences at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater and viewers tuning in worldwide via live-stream.
