McCarter Theatre Center Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen and Executive Director Martin Miller today announced a new addition to the 2023/24 Theatre Series—the Tony Award-winning, Motown-infused musical, Dreamgirls, in co-production with Goodspeed Musicals.

 Performing Arts Houston has announced its 23/24 Season of national and international touring artists and new works from artists in the Houston community. The arrival of the new season will coincide with major advances in the multi-year renovation of Jones Hall, including the installation of new auditorium seating, expanded restrooms, and more.

McCarter Theater will welcome audiences to Pearl Cleage's love letter to friendship and the Harlem Renaissance, BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY, on stage in the Berlind Theatre May 6th through the 28th. The play marks the McCarter directorial debut of Associate Artistic Director Nicole A. Watson. 

The 2023 Audie Awards recognizes distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment. Billy Porter won for Best Autobiography/Memoir for his Finding Me audiobook. Viola Davis’ Finding Me, which she wrote and narrated, and published by HarperCollins Publishers, earned two Audie Awards. The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents An Evening with David Sedaris on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:30pm. Sedaris will do a book signing after the show for all ticket holders. Tickets range from $29-$69.  

Hennepin Theatre Trust has announced NPR humorist David Sedaris returns by popular demand on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 at 8 p.m. at the historic State Theatre (805 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis).

Best-selling author David Sedaris is set to appear October 30, 2023 at Orpheum Theater in Sioux Falls.

Ragamala Dance Company's 30th season continues with Fires of Varanasi, presented March 15, 2023, at 7:30pm at McCarter Theatre Center.
