SUMMERWORKS 2013 - the annual season of new plays presented by the four-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb, will be presented tonight, May 24 to June 29 at The Wild Project (195 E. 3rd St.) in Manhattan.

Previews began Saturday (May 18) for The Ensemble Studio Theatre's 45-year-old Marathon of One-Act Plays, the longest running, most acclaimed one-act play festival in the country. The theatre's artistic director, William Carden, has selected 16 plays to be presented on THREE separate programs for The Ensemble Studio Theatre's 2013 Marathon of One-Act Plays May 18 through June 29 at The Ensemble Studio Theatre, 549 West 52nd Street.

Clubbed Thumb's Summerworks Spring Soiree Set for 5/13

Clubbed Thumb -- the Obie Award-winning theater company known for SUMMERWORKS, its annual month-long season of new play premieres -- will hold a Spring Soiree benefit on Monday, May 13 at 6 p.m. at a private residence in Brooklyn. Target Margin Theater (David Herskovits, Artistic Director; John Del Gaudio, Managing Director) concludes the 2011-2012 season, aptly titled "After Anton," with a reimagined look at Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya. Directed by David Herskovits, the cast features Clare Barron as Marina, Don Castro as Telegin, Rebecca Hart as Helena, Susan Hyon as Sonya, Mary Neufeld as Serebryakov, Edward O'Blenis as Astrov, Greig Sargeant as Vanya, and Yuri Skujins as Mme. Voynitskaya (who replaces previously announced Steven Rattazzi).
