The vibrancy, emotion, and heart-pounding beat of Bollywood comes to Chandler Center for the Arts with Bollywood Boulevard on March 28 at 7:30 pm.

The Jerry Garcia Foundation launched its Only Love Records music label in a collaborative project with Seven Seas Music to benefit the American Himalayan Foundation. The label's first album titled, Annapurna's Song, Music of the Himalayas is a unique selection of music by a variety of artists from the Himalayan region. The compilation album, includes 'Clouds,' a Sanjay Mishra composition featuring the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia on guitar.

State Theatre New Jersey presents Taj Express: The Bollywood Musical Revueon Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 8pm. This high energy celebration of new India's pop music, Bollywood culture, and deep traditions features joyful dance, colorful costumes, and thrilling live music from A.R. Rahman the composer of Slumdog Millionaire. Tickets range from $40-$98.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University continues the 2019/20 season this November and December with an array of dance, theater, opera, and music from around the world through programs from Great Performances at Mason, the Family Series, as well as signature events from Mason's College of Visual and Performing Arts.

Taj Express-The Musical captures the essence of Bollywood, India's prolific film industry, and is brought to life on stage with dance and music. It also tells the universal story of one man's genius and one man's passion and how the two collide. Taj Express-The Musical will return for one performance at The Smith Center on Oct. 8.

Launching the 2019 / 2020 Season, Alberta Ballet is pleased to welcome international Bollywood sensation Taj Express, October 4 & 5 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Alberta Ballet's presentations are the first stops on Taj Express' debut North American tour.

On Wednesday, August 7th the cast of Blinded by the Light, Bruce Springsteen and his wife/E Street Band guitarist Patti Scialfa walked the red-carpet prior to the film screening. Later that evening, Bruce surprised the audience and performed at the after party!

Berklee President Roger H. Brown presented an honorary Doctor of Music degree yesterday to acclaimed recording artist Imogen Heap during the commencement ceremony for the master's degree programs at Berklee's campus in Valencia, Spain. In advance of the ceremony, graduate students prepared and performed a medley of her  music in her honor at the commencement concert, held at l'Hemisfèric on Saturday.

More than 1,000 graduates from 67 countries and 47 U.S. states received degrees today at Berklee College of Music's 2019 commencement. At the ceremony, Berklee President Roger H. Brown presented honorary doctor of music degrees to music icons Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, and Alex Lacamoire. Lacamoire, a 1995 graduate of the college, delivered the commencement address to the graduating class and an estimated audience of nearly 7,000 guests at Agganis Arena.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic celebrates 20 years of its popular KCRW's World Festival series during the Hollywood Bowl 2019 season. A partnership between LA Phil and KCRW that began in 2000, KCRW's World Festival series continues to feature a diverse array of cutting-edge artists making music on a global scale.

Hylton Performing Arts Center announced today its 2019-2020 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across genres, as part of Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series. The Center for the Arts at George Mason University announced today the 2019/2020 season of Great Performances at Mason, its annual series featuring leading national and international artists in the disciplines of classical music, opera, jazz, ballet, modern dance, theater, and global music and dance. The Center also announced the return of the Family Series, offering its second season of affordable programming for young audiences.

Berklee President Roger H. Brown will present three-time Tony and Grammy-Award winning Alex Lacamoire (B.M. '95,), award-winning actor and 10-time Grammy-Award winning musician Justin Timberlake, and five-time Grammy-Award winning Missy Elliott with honorary Doctor of Music degrees at Berklee College of Music's commencement ceremony, Saturday, May 11, at the 7,000-seat Agganis Arena at Boston University.
