The pretense begins as the audience walks into the auditorium. It's as the warm smell of perfect nearly-burnt toast hits their noses that the good-hearted and fluffy nature of Toast reveals itself. Based on Nigel Slater's homonymous memoir, Henry Filloux-Bennett's bakes a play with enough nostalgia and hopefulness to feed a crowd.

Casting has been announced for the World Premiere of Great Apes from the novel by Will Self; reimagined for the stage by Patrick Marmion. Great Apes is a new play by Patrick Marmion directed by RSC and Donmar actor Oscar Pearce (Wolf Hall, Real Thing), based on the novel by Will Self opening at the Arcola Theatre on Monday 19th March.

A new cast has been announced for Patrick Barlow's adaptation of The 39 Steps, directed by Maria Aitken, currently in its third year at the Criterion Theatre. The new cast will feature John Hopkins as Richard Hannay. Other cast members include Stephen Critchlow, Stephen Ventura, and Natalie Walter. The new cast members of the hilarious 100-minute whodunnit begin July 13.
