'The Devil's Advocate' was written in collaboration with producer/guitarist Justin Abedin, whom Lisa met backstage whilst working on Come From Away in Toronto. He also played a significant role in her debut EP, The Space Between, released in 2022, helping to infuse beauty into her work and shape her lyrics and melodies.

Go inside Come From Away: The Concert Steele Community Centre in Gander and September 19-21 at the Mary Brown's Centre in St. John's, which brought home the musical about the small Canadian town that temporarily doubled in population in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and tells the real-life stories of the people from there, and those who came from away. 

A dynamic group of performers from several ‘Come From Away’ companies around the world will assemble for this special presentation. The concerts will welcome home Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, Petrina Bromley (from the original Broadway cast) and Clint Butler and Kate Etienne (from the Toronto cast).

The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will return to Seattle for a limited engagement from July 20 to August 7, 2022.

Endearingly inspirational and beautifully performed, COME FROM AWAY---as experienced in this relaunched post-lockdown tour now playing at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa through June 26, 2022---certainly proves itself worthy of repeat visits. Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced that the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, is returning to Costa Mesa at Segerstrom Hall for a limited one week engagement from June 21-26.

Angelwalk Theatre will bring some musical theatre fun to the fall lineup with its brand-new online series Backstage Tea, airing every Tuesday at 5:30 pm (EST) starting October 20th and available until 11:59 pm (EST) the following Monday. The series will run for a total of 9 episodes, with the final episode airing on December 15th.

The sixth and final instalment of Ghosts of the Royal Alex, the online series of story and song, is published today online at mirvish.com and on then usual purveyors of podcasts.

Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre is the most famous haunted theatre in Canada. Don't worry, the ghosts are all gentle souls, mostly performers who loved the theatre so much that they decided to make it their spiritual home.

Today, Mirvish Productions has released the first song in a six song cycle about the ghosts that have reportedly been seen at The Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, 'The Ghosts of the Royal Alex'. 

Following a transfer to the Elgin Theatre that lasted most of 2019, COME FROM AWAY has returned to its original Toronto home, the Royal Alexandra Theatre, in full form. Under director Christopher Ashley, writers and composers' Irene Sankoff and David Hein story of what happened in the town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the days following 9/11 maintains all the charm that it held before moving.

The Canadian production of COME FROM AWAY, a "Best Musical" Award winner across North America, and now on stage at its new home, the Elgin Theatre, continues to play to sold out houses and thrill Toronto audiences, demanding yet another extension. Twelve more weeks of performances - 99,000 tickets, will be added from July 2 through September 29, 2019 at the Elgin Theatre, 189 Yonge Street.

For the Toronto company of Come From Away, their return to Newfoundland this week is a homecoming of sorts - bringing back to the island the musical that tells the stories of those who were stranded there, and the Canadians who took them in, following the September 11th terrorist attacks in 2001. For the first time since the original TorontoBroadway company performed the musical in concert for the town of Gander - the musical has returned to 'the rock,' this time for a week of performances in St. John's, Newfoundland at the Holy Heart Theatre.

The CBC reports that tickets for the COME FROM AWAY concert performances sold out in record time, with both a wait to purchase online, as well as lines around the block at the Holy Heart Theatre in St. John's, Newfoundland.

The made-in-Canada phenomenon that is COME FROM AWAY is coming to St. John's. The show that has become the toast of Broadway and Toronto, will play eight benefit performances in a concert version at Holy Heart Theatre from January 23 to 27, 2019. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10 AM (NDT) exclusively through Holy Heart Theatre ticket channels.
