BWW Review: A Deceptively Devilish MAN OF GOD


East West Players solidly world premieres playwright Anna Moench's MAN OF GOD , a witty, biting account of four teenage Korean girls on a prayer mission to Thailand under the guidance of their male pastor. What starts off as a mish-mash of teenage bickering and clashing personalities smoothly morphs into a serious depiction of sexual tragedies and their responses.

East West Players Announces Cast And Creative Team Of MAN OF GOD


East West Players (EWP), the nation's longest-running professional theater of color and the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, is pleased to announce the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Anna Moench's Man of God. Directed by Jesca Prudencio, Man of God begins performances on January 31 and runs until February 24, 2019, with opening night on February 7, 2019.

Cast of BRUISE EASY World Premiere at American Theater Company Set


American Theater Company (ATC) announces casting for its world premiere of Bruise Easy by Dan LeFranc, Jan. 8-Feb. 14, 2016, about two estranged siblings who reunite at their childhood home for the conversation of a lifetime. ATC Ensemble Member Kelly O'Sullivan performs the role of Tess, returning after starring in ATC's critically acclaimed world premiere of The Humans last season. Matt Farabee makes his ATC debut performing the role of Alec. The ensemble includes ATC Youth Ensemble Members Matt Gomez-Hidaka, Jenna Makkaway, Michael Sandoval and Leah Schiffman, with Dante Guinazzo, Leslie Lawrence and Sandy Nguyen. Bruise Easy is the first mainstage production in ATC's history to feature Youth Ensemble members among the company.
