The Wharf Revue Team Opens CAN OF WORMS
The much-loved Wharf Revue returns in its new annual iteration titled CAN OF WORMS, playing at The Seymour Centre from 23 November and produced by Soft Tread, the company that brought you Jonathan Biggins' smash hit The Gospel According to Paul.
Sydney Theatre Company Announces ACT 1: The First Five Plays Of 2021
Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Kip Williams today unveiled Act 1, the first five plays of the 2021 season with the remaining two thirds of the season to be announced in March. To celebrate the company's return to its newly renovated home at The Wharf, Williams will direct a new adaptation by Kate Mulvany of Ruth Park's classic Sydney story, Playing Beatie Bow. The 2021 season will also feature the Australian premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' dark comedy, Appropriate directed by Wesley Enoch at Roslyn Packer Theatre and three plays rescheduled from the 2020 season: Home, I'm Darling, Fun Home and The Wharf Revue: Goodnight and Good Luck.

Pearlie is the best park fairy in the city! She keeps everyone happy in Jubilee Park - Mrs Duck and her ducklings, Brush and Sugar Possum, the singing Frogs and Sulky and Silky the spiders. But one day she wakes up to find everything topsy-turvy. Hurly-burly Pearlie! What can have gone wrong! Could those naughty rats Scrag and Mr Flea have something to do with it? It's up to Pearlie to find out and put everything right for her favourite animals, who are all very upset! Just when she's got all that sorted, she hears a cry," Mama! Mama!" What now? See what ensues as Pearlie and the park gang entertain a very special guest.
