Can a fictional detective solve a real-life murder case? Sherlock Holmes and the Whitechapel Fiend answers this question by having the world-famous detective attempt to solve the infamous Jack the Ripper case. Recently, we had the chance to talk to Adam Meggido, the director of this production, about what it’s been like bringing the show to life.

The Showstoppers are returning to the West End's Lyric Theatre on Monday 15 November for five months of monthly shows. Prior to this move they have two previously annouced West End shows at the Garrick Theatre on Monday 27 September and Monday 11 October.

Olivier Award winners The Showstoppers return to your home screens one final time this year to bring some much needed festive cheer into your living room with a special Christmas edition of their improvised musical livestream.

One of the last West End shows to be cancelled before lockdown in March, The Showstoppers turned their final performance at the Lyric Theatre into an impromptu online live stream event, which has since been viewed more than 112,000 times.

Yesterday, Olivier award-winning superstar Jenna Russell became the latest West End star to challenge The Showstoppers to compose a musical theatre song in just 24 hours.

Celebrity judges, guest stars and the full line-up is today announced for The Showstoppers' Alternative Eurovision Song Contest.

THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL is being extended, with a transfer to the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue.
