Training: Mountview Theatre School.

Theatre includes: beginning his career playing Tobias in Sweeney Todd (Bridewell), Michael then spent two years in the ensemble of Miss Saigon (original UK tour). In 2006 Michael joined the Carl Rosa Opera Company and has spent the last four years touring the UK and North America plus a season at the Gielgud Theatre performing the works of Gilbert and Sullivan. During this time he played Captain Corcoran and Bill Bobstay in HMS Pinafore, Samuel and understudy The Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance, Pish-Tush and understudy Ko-Ko in The Mikado, 1st Yeoman and understudy Jack Point in The Yeoman of the Guard, understudy Lord Mountararat in Iolanthe and understudy Major in Patience.

In 2009 Michael played Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance and ensemble in Princess Ida for the Buxton G&S Opera Company at the annual Gilbert and Sullivan Festival. Also, Robin in Inner City Jam (UK tour), Steve in Barney the Care in the Community Comic (Edinburgh Fringe), ensemble in Fanny (Lost Musicals Season, Lilian Baylis Theatre) and ensemble in My Fair Lady (Cyprus and Singapore).
