Totem Pole Playhouse's national award-winning production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is coming to the Maryland Theatre for the first time this December 6, 7 and 8th for four performances only. Totem Pole's production of the holiday classic was recognized for the second year in a row as a 'Best of the Best' Award Winner by the American Bus Association (A.B.A.) which named the critically-acclaimed stage adaptation as one of the top 10 entertainment events in the United States.

Totem Pole Playhouse's critically-acclaimed annual production of A Christmas Carol has received a "Best of the Best" Award from the American Bus Association (ABA) as one of the top 100 events in North America. The "Best of the Best" designation is an annual compendium of the 100 best events for group travel in the United States and Canada. The American Bus Association provides more than 600 million passenger trips annually on charters, tours, scheduled service and shuttles. Membership in the ABA includes motorcoach operators, tour operators, and tourism-related organizations. A committee of its members selects the top 100 events each year from hundreds of celebrations, festivals, fairs, performing arts presentations, regional commemorative events, and more. Totem Pole's production was submitted for consideration by Destination Gettysburg, the official marketing organization for Gettysburg and Adams County.

David Dietlein's production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Hale Centre Theatre through December 23 gift wraps the celebrated tale of Ebenezer Scrooge's redemption with all the sparkle, festivity, and messaging that befits the Holiday Season. Cory McCloskey delivers an outstanding performance as Scrooge in this must-see family fare.

Totem Pole Playhouse, in association with Gettysburg Community Theatre, will once again bring its original adaptation of the Charles Dickens' holiday classic A Christmas Carol to the stage of Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater this December 8-17. This year's production boasts an even larger cast of over 60 professional union, non-union, and local community actors, making it by far the largest production in Central Pennsylvania.

Director Cambrian James' fast paced, delightful Kiss and Tell gave this grumpy critic more laughs than she has experienced in a good long time - and the rest of the Hale's opening night audience was right there with her.

Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert presents the hit romantic comedy Kiss and Tell. Playing Monday and Tuesday nights from September 12th through November 14th. This hilarious Broadway and Hollywood smash, features a family feud that begins when two teenage best friends, Corliss and Mildred, come up with a scheme to sell kisses at a USO bazaar. Endearing love plots and madcap mistaken identities evolve from there, including the secret marriage of Mildred to a young Air Force officer and a prospective visit from the stork. Their bickering parents precipitate more problems than they're able to solve, including a lawsuit and countersuit.  

Wildly talented, vastly experienced director/choreographer Cambrian James' staging is at times crisp and clear and spot on.

Emmy and Tony-winning, Academy Award-nominated actress and animal advocate Lily Tomlin (Grace and Frankie) joined actress June Diane Raphael (Grace and Frankie), Craig Ferguson (The Craig Ferguson Show) and Casey Wilson (Happy Endings) to bring the laughs to 'Wait Wait...Don't Kill Me!,' a night of unforgettable comedy and entertainment benefiting Voice For The Animals Foundation (VFTA) on Saturday, May 6 at 8:00 p.m. at the famed Royce Hall on the UCLA Campus. I am incredibly proud of all my kids and Ryan is pursuing his dream as a performer. He has been performing for quite awhile now as a professional and I have had the idea that this would be so since about his Junior year in High School. I have always taken the time to include my kids (when they have shown an interest) into the shows I was doing. Ryan and his older sister, Kaitlynn, were able to be more inundated with it at a young age as I was more active as a professional performer and they got to be backstage and at rehearsal, and often in shows with me. Whenever I was in a show that needed kids, I got them an audition and, since they were talented, often got cast, so we were able to share the stage. Sound of Music, South Pacific, Music Man, Secret Garden, A Christmas Carol, all shows that my kids been able to share with me.

Gettysburg Community Theatre, the non-profit 501c3 organization located in the original Elks Lodge building at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in historic downtown Gettysburg, will present the musical, GYPSY at 7pm on September 16, 17, 23, 30 and October 1, and at 2pm on September 18, 24, 25, and October 2. Hale Centre Theatre is showcasing the popular comedy/fantasy, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, in a light-hearted and highly satisfying production, directed by Alaina Beauloye and featuring Josh Hunt as Joe Pendleton, the aspiring boxer whose lease on life gets an unexpected left hook.

Cambrian James once again demonstrates his remarkable directorial gifts by elevating a light-hearted comedy, SOMETHING'S AFOOT, into a showcase of marvelous gags and surprises and demonstrating just how joyous and side-splitting melodrama can be. He is aided and abetted in this endeavor by a perfect and highly entertaining cast, extravagantly wrapped in Mary Atkinson's beautifully tailored garments.

Arizona's version of the Tony awards took place at the Tempe Center for the Arts on Monday, September 16th. Forty theatres participated around the valley including youth, contracted, and non-contracted theatres. Hale Theatre, who falls under non-contracted, swept sixteen awards, receiving the most earned out of all theatres valley wide.
