It’s been over 40 years since The Legendary Downchild Blues Band have played the iconic El Mocambo in Toronto, so the band thought it would be fun to play the club one more time on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 8:00 pm with special guest Jeff Rogers.

Tweed & Company Theatre will officially open their 2022 Season with The Second City’s original sketch comedy show She The People, which will be performed on May 11th and 12th at the Marble Arts Centre in Tweed, and on May 13th and 14th at The Village Playhouse in Bancroft.

Dan Rather's Stories of a Lifetime began its two-night limited engagement at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre last night.

After a Members advance sale so busy it prompted the early extension of two productions, tickets for the Stratford Festival's groundbreaking new season go on sale to the public today. The 2020 season is one of the biggest ever and includes the much-anticipated opening of the new Tom Patterson Theatre. With the $100-million fundraising goal a hair's breadth away from completion, the bespoke theatre is one of North America's most significant new arts builds in decades.

Sheltered, by Alix Sobler begins performances at Theater J in the renovated Aaron and Cecile Goldman Theater at the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center on January 9, 2020 and continues through February 2, 2020. Set in the US and in Vienna in 1939, Sheltered is a suspenseful story about one couple's bold act of resistance. Theater J's DC premiere will be directed by Artistic Director Adam Immerwahr. The press is invited to Opening Night on Monday, January 13 at 7:30 PM.

Artistic Director Robert Falls has named Kimberly Senior the newest member of Goodman Theatre's Artistic Collective-ten American theater artists whose work has cemented the theater's international reputation for excellence over three decades. The Collective, which Falls established when he became Artistic Director, currently includes award-winning playwrights, directors and actors: Brian Dennehy, Rebecca Gilman, Henry Godinez, Dael Orlandersmith, Steve Scott, Chuck Smith, Regina Taylor, Henry Wishcamper and Mary Zimmerman.

In a world premiere engagement, Margaret Trudeau is coming to Chicago to bring her intimate staged performance Certain Woman of an Age exclusively to UP Comedy Club at The Second City, 230 W. North Ave. Co-written by Ms. Trudeau, herself, and directed by Kimberly Senior, this solo performance follows the compelling story of one of the world's most fascinating figures, chronicling her courageous public and private journeys.

The Victoria Playhouse Petrolia is thrilled to announce an upcoming four-part speaker series called 'Proud to be Canadian'. With the assistance of the Celebrate Ontario grant they received earlier this Spring, they will be inviting notable Canadians from various vocations, to present a one-hour discussion, complete with multi-media components, discussing their patriotic pride. Following each inquisitive presentation, there will be an audience Q&A period, allowing patrons to chat with the special guests. Hosted by Canadian funny lady Linda Kash (well known for her Philadelphia Cream Cheese commercials), the shows will be an engaging interview style format, much like you would see on a daytime talk-show like Ellen.
