Kfir M. Danieli BIO

KFIR (born Kfir Menashe Danieli) is an Israeli/American dancer, singer, songwriter, musician, producer and actor. born in Haifa, Israel. KFIR started dancing classical ballet at the age 6. During his dancing career in Israel, he received “honors" in the Royal Academy of Dance, chosen to perform in Tokyo Japan for the 75th Gala Anniversary of the Academy and while serving in the Israeli army he was honored as an “Outstanding Dancer” by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Kfir came to the American dance scene as a tourist and was casted with the traveling production of "Phantom" (Kopit) as a singer/dancer/actor Directed by Philip McKinley. Once back in New York, Kfir enrolled in classes at the American Ballet Theater. After his time at ABT, he was hired as Principal dancer for the Alabama Ballet in Birmingham where he danced classical and modern ballet lead roles. During this time he also guest starred at different ballet companies in Chicago IL, Miami, FL & Kyoto Japan to name a few.
Kfir was always interested in poetry and lyrics which lead him to his songwriting. His interest in singing was developed when he studied voice with Professor Benjamin Middaugh of Montevallo University. In 2007 Kfir returned to New York City to pursue his music career. He began auditioning and was hired by the Metropolitan Opera House for several productions as a dancer. There he discovered a love for Opera and the mechanics of classical singing while performing with the best opera singers in the world.
In 2009 Kfir joined the Broadway National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, "The Phantom of the Opera" as Male Lead Dancer, singer, actor. After the Music box tour ended, Kfir return to New York City full-time to perform with The Phantom Broadway cast. In the same time he also started working closely with famous vocal coach Don Lawrence (Mike Jagger, Bono, U2, Lady Gaga....) and taking piano lessons with the Met head rehearsal pianist.
The term “Overnight success story” does not apply to this up and coming, fiery, independent music star. Kfirs major success in music finally happened in 2019, with the release of his single Drama Queen, which was described by music critics as a pop hit with a bitting attitude that seemed to take a page from queen of soul Aretha Franklin, by unabashedly pointing a critical finger at people who fail to pay proper respect. The single has reached the Hot AC Top 100 Music Weekly charts in the US at #11. Recently, the DQ remix produced by DJ Hector Fonseca & DJ Zambianco claimed the #9 spot on Hypeddit Top 100 Progressive House world charts. This music crazed underdog Kfir, which in Hebrew means “Lions Cub” keeps on fighting his way to the top. “The struggle, drive, energy, creativity and resources it takes to make something happen in music is un-real. But the need and the gut feelings that I’m doing what’s right for me is what keeps on pushing me."
