Town and Country Players, in Buckingham, PA, will present the famously popular parody, THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (Abridged), beginning August 30, 2019 and running through September 14, 2019. The play, written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1987 and went on to 9 record breaking years on London's West End, and has since been the world's most performed stage parody for the last 32 years.
How exactly did Peter Pan and his band of lost boys get to Never-Neverland? And how did Peter become the boy who never grew up? The Pennington Players will provide the answers in the Tony Award-winning "Peter and the Starcatcher," coming to Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre Fridays, March 8 and 15 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, March 9 and 16 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, March 10 and 17 at 2 p.m.
If British farce is your cup of tea, there is no livelier or funnier show than "Noises Off." Taking a fond look at the folly of theater folk, this hilarious play comes to Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre in January.
