Following its record-breaking success as the most successful IMAX concert film ever, “Queen Rock Montreal” will make its global streaming premiere May 15th on Disney+ as the first concert film available in IMAX Enhanced sound. “Queen Rock Montreal” presents Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon at their most exciting and exhilarating.

This exhilarating live concert from 1981 is a window into Queen in their most unalloyed form, giving audiences a larger-than-life, front-row immersive experience. The film was digitally re-mastered for the first time into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience.

A Night at the Kabuki, the acclaimed Japanese stage production inspired by Romeo & Juliet set to the songs of Queen, is to be streamed globally on Friday 17th November. 

Coming to Sadler's Wells in September as part of its world tour, A Night At The Kabuki is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet to original recordings of songs by Queen. Late 12th century Japan, as the age of the Samurai dawns, the rivalry between the Minamoto and Taira clans intensifies, and their young heirs Romeo and Juliet fatefully fall in love.

Tying in with the upcoming October 11 release of the Freddie Mercury 'Never Boring' solo box set this week will see a brand new version of perhaps Freddie's most (in)famous solo video – for his single “Living On My Own” from his 'Mr Bad Guy' album, released on YouTube.

To mark Freddie Mercury's 73rdbirthday and the work of the Mercury Phoenix Trust (MPT), Universal Music Group (UMG), the world leader in music-based entertainment, has released a new video which can be found by directors Esteban Bravo and Beth David for Mercury's “Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow,” with animation from Woodblock.
