U.K. born, Helen Sadler's image and performance will forever be emblazoned in the mega franchise CALL OF DUTY: Advanced Warfare in 2014 performing opposite Kevin Spacey. Helen has performed as a lead in the production TRIBES by Nina Raine, directed by Austin Pendleton at Steppenwolf in Chicago and has recurred on the HBO episodic, TRUE BLOOD. Prior to this production Helen performed at South Coast Repertory in THE WHALE by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by Martin Benson.

Recent regional credits include Tribes (Steppenwolf); The Whale (South Coast Repertory); Cymbeline (A Noise Within Theatre); Radiance (The Geffen Playhouse); Sense and Sensibility (Actor’s Theatre of Louisville and Northlight Theatre). Chicago credits include The Maids (Writers’ Theatre); Blasted (A Red Orchid Theatre); Buried Child, A Taste of Honey, Hydein Hollywood (Shattered Globe Theatre); War (Seanachai); and Feydeau-Si-Deau (Theater Wit). Television and film credits include TrueBlood, Contagion, All the Marbles, Cass, Heavy, The Coldest Winter, Wednesday’s Child, Credits, Keen, Hush Your Mouth. Helen received her BA from University of Bristol and trained at The Poor School, London.

Extension Announced For THE MIRROR AND THE LIGHT at the Gielgud Theatre


The third and final novel in the Wolf Hall trilogy has been adapted for the West End stage by Dame Hilary Mantel and Ben Miles. Jeremy Herrin, who was nominated for an Olivier Award, a Tony Award and won the Evening Standard Award for the first two productions, returns to direct. Nathaniel Parker resumes his Olivier Award winning portrayal of Henry VIII.

There are certain stories that strike an emotional chord regardless of the format or venue. One such story is the Charlotte Bronte classic JANE EYRE, which is now playing at Hartford Stage in a brand new adaptation by Associate Artistic Director, Elizabeth Williamson (who also directs). The story - equal parts Victorian epic and Gothic horror, holds up extremely well in this production - providing a sweeping narrative, delivered by a talented cast and supported by strong technical design.
