The Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival is hosting its annual 'Menagerie of Holiday Gifts,' an online auction November 14 - December 3. The three-week auction is an annual fundraiser in preparation for the upcoming Festival in March.

Southern Rep Theatre has announced the companies donating to its upcoming Southern Rep Celebrates Louisiana Annual Gala today, June 3, 2014 at the Windsor Court Hotel (300 Gravier Street, New Orleans, LA 70130) at 6:30 pm. Proceeds from the Gala (including all auction items) will go toward supporting the award-winning regional theatre company's 2014-15 Mainstage Season and Arts Education Programs for underserved New Orleans students.

Southern Rep is pleased to announce that its Annual Gala, this year entitled Southern Rep Celebrates Louisiana, will take place on June 3, 2014 in the Chinoiserie Ballroom at the Windsor Court Hotel (300 Gravier Street, New Orleans, LA 70130). The event will gather 200 policy makers, business leaders, local and national theatre personalities, academics, and other community influencers for a cocktail reception and Silent Auction at 6:30 pm, and a formal dinner, awards ceremony, and live performance hosted by famed actress and cabaret performer, Leslie Castay, at 7:30 pm.

SoloMania offers New Orleans theater lovers a menu of solo performances, showcasing the diversity of perspectives and solo techniques currently enlivening New Orleans stages. The solo shows reflect a range of sensibilities, including performances for late-night, adult, and child audiences. SoloMania promotes experimentation and risk among writers, solo performers, and directors. It supports the development and presentation of new one-woman, one-man, one-person shows. SoloMania will present these performers in back-to-back solo shows in a variety of styles: including comedy, drama, puppetry, cabaret, monologue, storytelling, burlesque, and inter-media.
