Plotting another end-of-year bonanza, Skinny Lister will be back for a fresh stretch of UK shows in Winter 2024. Regularly cited as one of the best live bands in the biz, the Skinnies’ annual live pilgrimage around the UK has become the stuff of gig circuit legend in recent years. And already champing at the bit to go again, the band will be hitting the road for a run of unmissable fixtures from Newcastle to Nottingham, Bristol to Birmingham.
Kicking off on March 11 in Austin, TX at the SXSW Music and Arts Festival, the band will also support labelmate Frank Turner in Ventura, CA on March 15, perform as part of Shamrock Rebellion with Flogging Molly across two dates, and make headline appearances on the west coast through March 24 with support from PET NEEDS.
Kicking off on Thursday, May 23 at XL Live in Harrisburg, PA, Turner's Undefeated Tour will feature his long-standing band The Sleeping Souls and hit markets across the south, midwest, west coast and east coast. The tour will feature support from Amigo the Devil, Bridge City Sinners and Micah Schnabel & Vanessa Jean Speckman in select markets.

A victory lap for her acclaimed 2023 album, the expanded version features four additional acoustic versions of tracks from the record including the Ed Harcourt duet “The Mermaid & The Sailor”. Barge At Will was recorded, mixed, and mastered at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, CO. Stevenson played drums and bass on the album. A few of Snodgrass' buddies including Chris Wollard (Hot Water Music), Chris Cresswell (The Flatliners, Hot Water Music), Peter “JR” Wasilewski (Less Than Jake), and Scott Reynolds (ALL) made contributions.
As per the studio album, the additional tracks were recorded with Ed Harcourt at his Wolf Cabin studio, with the producer appearing as a guest vocalist on the reworked version of “The Mermaid & The Sailor”. The deluxe edition will also feature “Tango With Your Fear”, “Hedy Lamarr”, and “Feeding Time For Monsters.'

Touring in support of their debut album ‘Just Before The World Starts Burning’ (out 24 November via Xtra Mile Recordings), the live dates will be first as a band outside of their usual day jobs of touring with Frank Turner. Kicking off in Glasgow on 23 January 2024, the tour will see stops in Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol and London.
Recorded over the last 3 years between Frank Turner's rehearsal space in Oxford and Badlands studios in Ireland, its 12 varied tracks take their cues from a wild array of influences, from the explorative post/rock sounds of Radiohead or Death Cab For Cutie, to the tempestuous punk thrashings of Plosivs and Hot Snakes.

Jenny Owen Youngs releases her second single “Knife Went In” from her forthcoming highly-anticipated fourth studio album Avalanche. “Knife Went In” is an exploration of vulnerability in early stages of relationships and finding common ground in shared wounds, with Youngs’ gentle voice gliding smoothly over looping nylon-stringed guitar.
