Frank Siano BIO

Frank Siano is originally from New Jersey and has worked professionally in the entertainment industry for over 50 years, as a performer, director, producer and artistic director. He has appeared in over 200 productions throughout the United States. His favorite roles include Mr. Mushnik (Little Shop of Horrors) Sancho (Man of La Mancha), Ali Hakim (Oklahoma!), Mr. Dandon (La Cage Aux Folles), and KoKo (The Mikado). Besides performing on the New York stage, Frank has performed at the Goodspeed Opera House, Papermill Playhouse, Northshore Music Theatre and the Cape Playhouse to name a few. No living in Orlando he has appeared at the Mark Two Dinner Theatre and the Orlando International Fringe Festival. He was last seen performing at the Bob Carr in Mad Cow?s critically acclaimed production of Guys and Dolls staring Davis Gaines and Michelle Knight with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. He worked with Off Broadway legend Charles Busch at the Goodspeed Opera on the adaptation of the 1950?s musical Ankles Aweigh! Charles wrote Frank a role that required him to play an entire Italian town - including the women! Frank worked for NBC Universal Orlando for over 20 years where he performed in, produced, directed or wrote many shows including, Murder She Wrote Mystery Theater, Hercules and Xena, The Toon Lagoon Beach Bash and the famed Rocky the Mystic Fountain.

At Theater West End, you've entered the world of WEST SIDE STORY before even taking your seat. Getting there requires walking across the blue-collar, gang-ridden streets of 1950s New York in the Upper West Side. There's graffiti on the floor beneath you and the walls all around. T-shirts hang out to dry on clotheslines over your head. There's a basketball goal on the cage-wire fence the band sits behind. You might even be seated next to a fire hydrant or a traffic cone.
