Recently, BroadwayWorld had the chance to talk with Tucker about her upcoming concert at Cadogan Hall. We discussed what it’s like to be performing at such an iconic venue, her creative process for her new album, and even some of her favourite songs to perform to audiences!

What did our critic think of COME FROM AWAY at Golden Gate Theatre?

Marika Aubrey was born and raised in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. She emigrated to the US six years ago and currently resides in New York City. She is currently on tour with COME FROM AWAY, portraying Captain Beverly Bass. I had the chance to chat with her about her life and career both on and off the stage.

What did our critic think of COME FROM AWAY at Rochester Broadway Theatre League?

What did     These 12 actors have created the most perfect professional ensemble show I have ever seen. There was no stand out star of this show, there were no pro or antagonists. There was only circumstances and stories. Often reviewers say things like, “This is not a show to be missed!’ “Catch it while you can!” and other such things, so I won’t. But I will tell you that you will be missing out on some of the best theater I have seen. So, get your tickets, it’s only “90 minutes without an intermission” and worth every second. This is a show I personally hope to see again and again.

Come From Away, the most heartwarming musical opened again at Östgötateatern

When everyone was experiencing devastation on 9/11/2001, the town of Gander in Newfoundland, Canada was accepting passengers from 38 planes full of people who had been detoured from their various destinations. Come From Away tells this true story. The musical follows the five days the “Come From Aways” stayed in Gander as they try and contact their loved ones and deal with the heartbreaking news that was happening in the states.

Tuesday, September 11th, 2001. 9/11. A date engraved in our souls. The horrific terrorist attack on America, where almost 3000 lives were lost, in the twin towers of NYC and the Pentagon.
