Today, KC Fringe Festival announces that Audrey Crabtree will step into the role as the new Executive Director of the KC Fringe. She succeeds Cheryl Kimmi the Festival's founder, as Executive Director. Cheryl Kimmi will move into the role of Development Director.
In its 9th year the St Lou Fringe Festival explores the pioneering new medium of virtual performing arts. Current events have inspired our artists to explore the issues of Black Lives Matter, COVID-19, Trans Rights, and even the making of an opera about a St. Louis Pulitzer Prize winning poet in their presented works. A cooperative of NYC-based cutting-edge experimental theater companies and artists will present their work throughout July as part of the 2012 undergroundzero festival (Paul Bargetto, Artistic Director, Connie Hall, Executive Director). The festival will take place June 29-July 29 on 5 stages in the East Village and Brooklyn and outdoor sites throughout lower Manhattan. Weekly parties, panels, and new play readings will happen at festival headquarters: the legendary Living Theatre.
