TheatreWorks Silicon Valley brings an enchanted bestseller to life for the holidays with the regional premiere of Tuck Everlasting. Set in the 1890s, free-spirited Winnie Foster searches for adventure, finding the Tucks, a close-knit family that has discovered the secret to everlasting life. Winnie faces the choice of a lifetime: return to everyday life, or join the Tucks on their infinite, irreversible voyage through time. Directed by TheatreWorks Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley, Tuck Everlasting will be presented November 28 - December 30 at Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Rd., Palo Alto.

New York Live Arts presents the New York City premiere of Bill Shannon's Touch Update, a new work exploring contemporary modes of digital versus interpersonal representation and physicality. Touch Update investigates social constructions and specific physical movement patterns that emanate from disabled bodies. Video wearables and installation art animate corporeal abstractions of dance, digital intimacy and human touch.

On Sunday, November 18 at 4 pm, sought-after violinist Rachel Barton Pine takes the stage at Richardson Auditorium to perform Niccolo Paganini's fiendish Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Op. 6 with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Rossen Milanov. Bookending the violin concerto are Leoš Jana?ek's Sinfonietta and Igor Stravinsky's Divertimento from The Fairy's Kiss. Maestro Milanov hosts Ms. Pine at a pre-concert discussion of the program at 3pm.
