The Tony nominee Christine Andreas has released an album unlike anything else this year. Piaf - No Regrets celebrates the songs made famous by the French singer Edith Piaf, including 'Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien,' 'Hymne a L'Amour," "L'Accordeoniste,' and 'La Vie En Rose.' Piaf - No Regrets started as a one woman show performed by Andreas at Feinstein's/54 Below and other cabaret venues, intended to celebrate Piaf's life and her musical triumphs. The classic 'La Vie En Rose' had been a stable song at Andreas' other cabaret shows and performances for many years.

Former costars Rob McClure and Maggie Lakis are now coparents! The couple announced the birth of their first child, Sadie James McClure, born on Sunday December 9th at 9:16 AM. McClure and Lakis met in 2005 while performing as Doody and Frenchy in a regional production of Grease. After marrying in 2009, they went on to perform together in the National Tour of Something Rotten! as Nick Bottom and Bea in 2017.

At last night's opening of The New Group's musical adaption of Clueless, Dove Cameron gushed about her next project- starring at Clara Johnson in the London premiere of Adam Guettel's The Light in the Piazza.

On December 4, The New York City Children's Holiday Party brought nearly 800 children from 38 different homeless shelters to experience the epic musical King Kong. After the performance, each child received gifts and a backpack with educational supplies and departed the show with a merry send-off from Santa Claus.

Of the many traditions and events that occur during Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids' twice yearly collection periods, one of the sweetest and subtlest is the annual Carols For a Cure compilation album. The recent release marks the twentieth anniversary of the tradition, where the casts of a variety of currently running Broadway shows record a special holiday song to be included on the album. This years album the album includes ten bonus tracks of songs from previous Carols For a Cure albums as well as eighteen new songs from current Broadway casts. As with every Broadway Cares/Equity Fight Aids fundraiser, all proceeds from the sales of the album goes to the organization's charitable endeavors.

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who are best known for their songwriting work on Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman, and La La Land, will appear at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California on January 7th.

On Monday night, Academy Award nominated actor Hugh Jackman received the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film from the Santa Barbara International Film Festival at the Ritz Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, CA. Jackman was honored for his illustrious career in film and his recent work in The Front Runner. On hand to celebrate this momentous occasion were cast mate J.K. Simmons, Director Jason Reitman, and longtime friend Ben Mendelsohn.

The Doo Wop Project brings "A Doo Wop Christmas Show" to the McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. The Doo Wop Project, with multiple members who have appeared in the Broadway hits "Jersey Boys" and "Motown: The Musical", brings unparalleled sound and vocal authenticity to recreate a classic era in American music that has inspired generations.

Gulfshore Playhouse will host its 9th Annual Gala "Bubbles, Baubles, and Broadway" on March 18, 2019 at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. This year's star-studded event will be chaired by Barbara and George Franks. Community philanthropists, education supporters, and longtime theatre patrons, the Franks are actively involved in a number of community-impact organizations benefiting children and underprivileged families.

Hub Theatre Company of Boston will close its critically acclaimed sixth season with the five-time Tony Award-winning play Peter and The Starcatcher by Rick Elice, with music by Wayne Barker, based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. The show will be directed by award winning local favorite Sarah Gazdowicz, with music direction by Bethany Aiken, and will run Friday, November 2 through Saturday, November 17, 2018 at First Church Boston, 66 Marlborough Street in Boston's Back Bay. The Houston Symphony brings back two stellar guest performers: legendary pianist Garrick Ohlsson and world-renowned conductor Edo de Waart. Both mark their returns to the Jones Hall stage in the program Ohlsson Plays Beethoven at 8 p.m. Nov. 29 - Dec. 1, and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 2.

On Sunday, November 11, the cast and creative team  All Is Calm honored the 100th anniversary of the armistice with a reading of an excerpt from "For the Fallen,' a poem by Robert Laurence Binyon, first published in The London Times on September 21st, 1914 and a singing of "Silent Night.'

Sexy Laundry by Michele Riml, a poignant and hilarious look at the up and downs of love, marriage and the bedroom, has been a smash hit in the US, Canada, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovenia, Germany, Mexico, and Iceland, and in Poland it continues to run in rep with over 300 performances. Sexy Laundry will get its UK premiere at the Tabard Theatre, Chiswick from Wednesday 31 October - Sunday 25 November, directed by Phoebe Barran, who also directed Tryst at the Tabard Theatre last year.

This year, The Washington Ballet celebrates 15 years of DC's perennial favorite, Septime Webre's The Nutcracker, November 24 - 25 at THEARC Theater and November 29 - December 28 at the historic Warner Theatre. Set to Tchaikovsky's magical score, this celebrated production set in 1882 early Georgetown has become the signature Nutcracker in our nation's capital.
