Brian Cox, known for his role in the hit series Succession, has backed a new petition to save The Old Rep, a historic theatre in Birmingham. Located on Station Street, the theatre opened in 1913 and according to Cox 'Some of the finest actors in the UK have travelled through the place.' These actors include such people as Albert Finney, Laurence Olivier and Ralph Richardson.

Margot Robbie, the acclaimed star of Barbie, has just joined another project based on an iconic piece of IP. With her production company, Robbie will be producing a film based on the board game Monopoly, which is made by Hasbro. It will be a live-action feature, with Hasbro producing as well.

Comedian Tom Segura has just locked in his latest deal with Netflix. According to Deadline, Segura will produce and star in a new six-episode series for the streaming service, following his five previous comedy specials. This news comes after years of Segura hinting about the series, who also wrote the pilot.

According to a new report, Anthony Hopkins has just finished filming his role as King Herod in the upcoming film based on the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus. In the film, described as a 'biblical thriller', newcomer Noa Cohen will play the significant role of Mary, as she and her husband Joseph are on the lam in an attempt to protect their baby, Jesus.

Acclaimed songwriter, musician and producer Lawrence Rothman’s new song, “Dreams Die Hard,” just debuted in addition to the official music video, directed by renowned director Floria Sigismondi. The juice is loose! On Tuesday, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the sequel to the 1988 film, debuted new footage at the Warner Bros. panel at CinemaCon at Caesars Palace. According to reports, the new footage included shots of Willem Dafoe's character, Wolf Jackson and Monica Bellucci's Delores. Additionally, there were new looks at the iconic house in black sheets and shots of Jenna Ortega's character Astrid, attempting to escape from sandworms in a desert that may be the Afterlife.
