All new rehearsal photos have been released from the return of the original, smash hit production of People, Places and Things. 

Carrie Underwood, made her highly-anticipated return to Las Vegas with back-to-back sold-out shows of REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency over the weekend, Sept. 22-23, 2023. Friday also marked the release of Underwood’s Denim & Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition), featuring six new tracks, giving fans an additional reason to celebrate. Check out photos!

Royal Family Productions will remount its acclaimed production of WOMEN ON FIRE: Stories from the Frontlines.

Angels in America is a two-part play by American playwright Tony Kushner which he describes as 'A Gay Fantasia on National Themes'. The work won numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Tony Award for Best Play, and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. The play is a complex, often metaphorical, and at times symbolic examination of AIDS and homosexuality in America in the 1980s. Certain major and minor characters are supernatural beings (angels) or deceased persons (ghosts). The play contains multiple roles for several of the actors. Initially and primarily focusing on a gay couple in Manhattan, the play also has several other storylines, some of which occasionally intersect. The two parts of the play are separately presentable and entitled Millennium Approaches and Perestroika, respectively, at Teatro do SESC Vila Mariana.

Last night was the Drama League's 35th Annual Benefit Gala: A Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring film, television, theater icon and three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane. The black-tie evening also celebrated theater producer Fran Weissler for Visionary Leadership in American Theater. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out all the photos below!

Based on the true story of murderous duo The Papin sisters, Genet's infamous The Maids is a radical modern classic. Well ahead of its time, it explodes with contemporary ideas about class conflict, sexual identity, and political outcasts.

 On Monday June 18, TDF, which is celebrating 50 years of service to audiences and the performing arts community in 2018, honored Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning playwright TONY KUSHNER at its 50th Anniversary Gala. Mr. Kushner's Tony Award-winning masterwork, Angels in America, which is currently receiving its first Broadway revival with the National Theatre production at the Neil Simon Theatre is running through July 15.

Broadway Bound Kids' third annual Broadway Bee, which took place on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Le Poisson Rouge, was a major success, raising over $40,000 in funding for performing arts education opportunities for NYC youth. A comedic adult spelling bee, the Broadway Bee, featured actors from hit Broadway shows competing in a hilarious live event. Lee Aaron Rosen from the Tony Award nominated Broadway revival of Angels in America took home the coveted Broadway Bee trophy.

Just yesterday the nominees flocked to the InterContinental New York Times Square Hotel, where they met with the press for the first time since getting the big news. Everything's coming up Tonys! Spring has sprung, awards season has begun, and the latter is all that really matters to Broadway fans everywhere. Earlier this week, Katharine McPhee and Leslie Odom Jr. announced the 2018 Tony nominations, celebrating the best of the 2017-18 theatre season (and what a season it's been!). Leading the pack were Mean Girls and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical with 12 nominations, followed by Angels in America, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel andThe Band's Visit with 11 and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two with 10. This year's TONY AWARDS nominations were announced by Katharine McPhee and Leslie Odom Jr. this morning. The 2018 TONY AWARDS will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on Sunday, June 10th on CBS.
