The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey wraps its 2017 season with a delightful adaptation of a treasured holiday film, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. After a successful staged reading of the play in 2016, director Doug West returns to direct this new take on a beloved tale. Adapter Joe Landry has brought the 1946 film to the stage where he has gathered a troupe of radio actors and live Foley sound artists to perform It's a Wonderful Life in a 1940s radio station. Performances begin on November 30. Patrons can purchase tickets at The F.M. Elbakyan presented his play to pay tribute to the renowned Canadian-Armenian sculptor and painter, member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, Arto Tchakmakchian.

One year ago the members of the Adirondack Shakespeare Company were scattered in the emergency room at Glens Falls Hospital, at Albany Medical Center, on a remote hillside in North River frantically calling family members and friends of five people who were in a terrible car crash. It was the day the cast was arriving; and instead of having pizza and an introductory Welcome-to-the-Adirondacks meeting, they were reeling with shock and fear, and wondering if everyone was going to be alright.

RICHARD III played June 25 - July 24.
