The Play That Goes Wrong celebrated its 500th performance on Broadway tonight, June 14th. Following tonight's performance, the cast went backstage for a celebration with a cake made by Dina Jawetz of Cakes By Dina.
Following critical acclaim, and a sold-out run at the Young Vic, producers Sonia Friedman Productions, Tom Kirdahy and Hunter Arnold are delighted to announce the full cast for the West End transfer of Joe Murphy and Joe Robertson's The Jungle, a National Theatre and Young Vic co-production with Good Chance Theatre,directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin. The production is set in Europe's largest unofficial refugee camp, the Calais Jungle, which in 2015, became a temporary home for more than 10,000 people. Previewing from 16 June, with World Refugee Day on 20 June, The Jungle will have an Opening Night on 5 July at the Playhouse Theatre, with rehearsal photography released today. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company closes their Debut Season at The Otto M. Budig Theater with Noises Off, by Michael Frayn. The production is directed by Ed Stern, the former Artistic Director of the Playhouse in the Park, The cast features CSC's Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips, as well as Dale Hodges, Joneal Joplin, Jeremy Dubin, Kelly Mengelkoch, Justin McCombs, and Brooke Steele. This show is generously sponsored by Towne Properties in memory of Lambert Agin, Messer Construction, and Thompson Hine.
Love appears in unlikely places in Adam Szymkowicz's new play, Kodachrome, which makes its world premiere at The Armory directed by Associate Artistic Director Rose Riordan. The production opens February 9, with previews beginning February 3 and performances running through March 10 in the Ellyn Bye Studio. Kodachrome was developed at The Armory's JAW: A Playwrights Festival in 2015 under the title Colchester and will be the company's 26th world premiere production.

Bergen County Players presents the final mainstage production of its 2014-2015 season of shows, the 2009 Tony Award-winning play, God of Carnage, written by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Alyson Cohn. God of Carnage will open on May 2, 2015 and run through Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell (no performances Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24). The New York Times described Carnage as '[a] streamlined anatomy of the human animal... [The play] delivers the cathartic release of watching otherpeople's marriages go boom.'
Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents The Amish Project by Jessica Dickey, a fictional exploration of the Nickel Mines schoolhouse shooting in an Amish community, and the path of forgiveness and compassion forged in its wake. The one-person cast for The Amish Project stars Rep Associate Artist Deborah Staples. Directed by Milwaukee-based theater director and Rep Literary Coordinator Leda Hoffmann, the production runs now through March 22, 2015 and opens tonight, February 13. Venice Theatre proudly announced its 66th season yesterday at a party attended by more than 400 sponsors, donors, advertisers, patrons and volunteers. Minutes before the reception was underway, the theatre's Board of Directors approved the docket of productions presented to them by the theatre's volunteer play selection committee and Artistic/Executive Director Murray Chase.
