Rover Dramawerks presents the hilarious comedy The Girls in 509 by Howard Teichmann at the Cox Building Playhouse, 1517 H Avenue in Plano. Performances are tonight, August 23 - September 15, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., with an additional matinee performance on Saturday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m.

Set in 1953, The Solid Gold Cadillac begins at the annual stockholders' meeting of General Products, a colossal manufacturing corporation. Just as the company directors are about to vote themselves large promotions and even larger raises, Laura Partridge, an older woman who owns a measly ten shares in the company stands up to question their actions.
