Axis Theatre Company begins their 2014-15 season with the world premiere of Randy Sharp's new musical Solitary Light, September 10 - October 4. Written and directed by Sharp (East 10th Street, Last Man Club, In The Park), the production features music co-written by Paul Carbonara (Blondie, Mary McBride) and focuses on the turmoil surrounding the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire.

Acclaimed actors Chris Noth and Fritz Weaver join the cast of Lincoln's Favorite Shakespeare with John Douglas Thompson and Kathleen Chalfant. On August 14 at 4pm at the Fitzpatrick Main Stage, this noted quartet of actors are donating their performances to the event and will present scenes and soliloquies known and loved by Abraham Lincoln from the canon of Shakespeare with a reception immediately following at Chesterwood.

The new SFSKids incorporates user-friendly educational game-play techniques to bring orchestral music to today's digitally savvy children, and launches a new generation of music instruction tools for parents and teachers. Liberty Hall Museum has announced it will host an additional Downton Abbey Luncheon on Saturday, February 8 (Noon - 3 p.m.), after January's event and a second Downton Abbey Luncheon scheduled for February 22 sold out in record time. 'We are excited that Downton Abbey is back on the air, but we never dreamed that so many of our guests would be as well,' said Bill Schroh, Jr., Director of Museum Operations. 'Our Downton Abbey trivia game during the January luncheon was one of the toughest I have ever seen. Every guest had their arm raised ready to answer every question.
