Broadway's landmark musical event THE LION KING celebrated its 15th Anniversary Sunday evening with a one-night only celebratory performance benefitting The Actors Fund. Virtually the entire creative team, who collectively won six Tony® Awards for their work on the show, reunited for the sold out performance.

Disney's THE LION KING celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a gala performance at London's Lyceum Theatre on Sunday 18th October 2009. Former cast members along with the show's award-winning creative team gathered with a host of celebrities and friends to celebrate 10 triumphant years in the West End.

Disney's THE LION KING, San Diego's most eagerly awaited stage production ever, will leap onto the Civic Theatre stage from Tuesday, October 13 to Sunday, November 8. Press opening night is Thursday, October 15 at 7:30PM. Broadway/San Diego chats with The Lion King's head carpenter Michael Carey about bringing in the stage favorite.

The Lion King currently is running all over the world, including New York, London, Hamburg, Paris, Tokyo and Fukuoka, as well as the North American National Tour.
