The Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum, 6 Normandy Heights Road, in Morristown, NJ, continues its 2008-2009 Mainstage Season with Fiction, Stephen Dietz's spellbinding drama about a dying author's wish to read her author husband's journals and the unexpected tale that unfolds when secrets the couple harbors are ultimately revealed. Fiction runs March 5 through March 29.
Ray Ficca Takes Over As Totem Pole's Artistic Director

After 23 years of guiding Totem Pole Playhouse into national prominence as a premiere professional summer theatre, Carl Schurr and Wil Love are stepping down at the end of the 2008 season. As Producing Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director, respectively, this theatrical duo has produced, directed and acted in well over one hundred productions since assuming their current positions in 1985. Ray Ficca, long time friend of Schurr and Love and a resident company member at the Playhouse will become the artistic director in September of this year.

The Ross Valley Players presents one of the masters of modern theater, David Mamet and his 1984 Pulitzer Prize winning play Glengarry Glen Ross. With uncompromising frankness, occasional brutality and surprising humor Mamet's play follows four small-time real estate salesmen trying to make a living by any means necessary by pushing plots of land on reluctant buyers. Drawing partly on Mamet's experiences in a Chicago real estate office, Glengarry Glen Ross is a masterpiece of American theater.
