Mark Benton will join the London cast The Railway Children on 3 December to play Perks for the final six weeks of Damian Cruden's Olivier award-winning production at Waterloo Station. Since it's opening Cruden's production has now been seen by almost 400,000 people. The final London performance, in the specially created 1000 seat space in the old Eurostar Terminal at Waterloo Station, will be on 8 January 2012.

Craig Warnock, who played Perks in the Toronto production of The Railway Children, has joined the London cast to re-create the role.

Craig Warnock, who played Perks in the Toronto production of The Railway Children, has joined the London cast to re-create the role. Damian Cruden's Olivier award-winning production of The Railway Children will have its final performance on 8 January 2012 in the specially created 1000 seat space in the old Eurostar Terminal at Waterloo Station.

The current cast, led by Marcus Brigstocke who plays Mr Perks, comprises Pandora Clifford as Mother, David Baron as the Old Gentleman, Mark Holgate as Jim, Elizabeth Keats as Mrs Perks, Tim Lewis as Peter, Stephen Beckett as the Father and Doctor, Amy Noble as Roberta, Blair Plant as Shepansky, Amanda Prior as Mrs Viney and Cook and Grace Rowe as Phyllis. They are joined by ensemble members Francesca Ellis, Felicity Houlbrooke and James Rigby.

Damian Cruden's Olivier award-winning production of The Railway Children today announces a final extension to its run at Waterloo Station having reached an agreement with BRB (Residuary) Ltd to run until 8 January 2012. With audiences sitting either side of a real railway track, the 1000 seat Waterloo Station Theatre was created especially for this production in the old Eurostar Terminal. Award-winning designs are by Joanna Scotcher lighting by Richard G. Jones, music by Christopher Madin and sound by Craig Vear.

After last year's hugely successful run, tickets go on sale today for Damian Cruden's acclaimed production of The Railway Children which is returning to The Waterloo Station Theatre from 18 June until 4 September with press night on 28 June 2011. Award-winning designs are by Joanna Scotcher with lighting by Richard G. Jones, music by Christopher Madin and sound by Craig Vear. Casting for the 2011 production will be announced shortly. Last year's production of The Railway Children - seen by over 165,000 people at Waterloo Station - has received two 2011 Laurence Olivier Award nominations, Best Entertainment and Best Sound Design.

Antony Sher, reprising his role as Phillip Gellburg, and Tara Fitzgerald as Sylvia Gellburg will star in the Tricycle's critically acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's Olivier Award winning Broken Glass. Following a sell out run at the Tricycle Theatre in 2010, Broken Glass, directed by Iqbal Khan, will return for a limited season at the Tricycle from 10 August until 10 September, before transferring to the Vaudeville Theatre.
