To acknowledge her outstanding contribution to classical theatre in America, Actress Laura Linney will be awarded the Shakespeare Theatre Company's prestigious William Shakespeare Award for Classical Theatre (Will Award) at the Harman Center for the Arts 10th Anniversary Gala on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Sidney Harman Hall.

Pat Healy's “extremely funny” (Roger Ebert.com ) directorial debut TAKE ME arrives on DVD August 1st. The black comedy stars Healy and Taylor Schilling (known for her role on “Orange is The Now Black”), and highlights a “terrific showcase for longtime character actor Healy” (Film Journal ) and an, “in a word, amazing” Schilling (Paste). The DVD features exclusive behind the scenes footage and interviews with the cast and filmmakers discussing the process that brought the “unpredictable” ( Variety) TAKE ME to life.

Genius and jealousy take center stage in Peter Shaffer's award-winning play, 'Amadeus'. The highly-stylized theater piece follows the re-imagined rivalry between composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri.

The Woodstock Film Festival announced that its honorary Fiercely Independent Award will be presented by Actor Ben Foster to Oren Moverman, an Israeli-American film director, screenwriter, producer, and former journalist based in New York City.

Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, has ordered OZARK, a 10-episode first season, one-hour drama, from Media Rights Capital, starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.

Netflix has acquired global rights to Charlie McDowell's THE DISCOVERY, starring Rooney Mara (Carol), Robert Redford (Truth) and Jason Segel (The End of the Tour). The film will premiere on Netflix and in select theaters in the US in 2017.
