John Green Announces Leads for Hulu's LOOKING FOR ALASKA

As announced by John Green via twitter, Hulu is excited to confirm that our leads for Looking for Alaska have been cast. Kristine Froseth and Charlie Plummer have been cast as the leads of Hulu's upcoming 8-episode limited series, 'Looking for Alaska,' based on bestselling John Green novel from Paramount Television and Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage's Fake Empire.

Sakina's Restaurant, the Obie Award-winning play written and performed by actor, writer, and former correspondent for 'The Daily Show' Aasif Mandvi (Disgraced), just opened yesterday, October 14 at the Minetta Lane Theatre. Performances of the recently-extended five-week-only engagement began on October 5th. Sakina's Restaurant comes from Audible, the same producers as the critically acclaimed Harry Clarke, Girls and Boys, and Patti Smith: Words and Music, and the world's largest seller and producer of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment.

Ben Foster Cast as Lead in Petr Jákl's Historical Action Drama MEDIEVAL

J.B.J Film and Elevated Films announced today that acclaimed actor Ben Foster has been cast as the lead in director Petr Jakl's historical action drama MEDIEVAL. Jakl wrote the screenplay and will produce alongside Cassian Elwes. The film will be produced with the support of private investors and many Czech state institutions and regions, including the Czech Film Fund, the Prague Film Fund, Creative Europe - Media and others. Principal photography is scheduled to begin this fall in Prague and the surrounding Czech countryside.

Directed by Ari Gold (Adventures of Power), who co-wrote the film with Elizabeth Bull, the film stars Rory Culkin (Signs), Robert Sheehan (Geostorm) and Mary Beth Peil (Tony nominee for Anastasia). THE SONG OF SWAY LAKE will be released in theaters on September 21st and on VOD and Digital HD on September 25th.
