Our readers set the nominees, and now voting is open for the 2021 BroadwayWorld Denver Awards! The 2021 Regional Awards honor productions which had their first performance between October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.

Opening Night was Saturday evening, November 16, 2019. Miracle on 34th Street, The Musical is sponsored by P.C. Richard & Son and presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

Jason Vass Gallery exhibits Body Languageby artist Douglas Tausik Ryder from September 7 through October 19, 2019 (1452 E. Sixth Street, Los Angeles) with an opening reception on September 7 from 5 to 8 p.m.

On Sunday, April 28, the 2019 Los Angeles Dance Festival wrapped up a month of hosting over 50 dance companies, a dance photography exhibit, and several master classes. Over 100 years ago, modern dance was created by the 'LA Ladies' the Festival Producer, Deborah Brokus reminded the audience, adding value to Los Angeles and Southern California as a unique, and stand-out community of dancers in the world of dance.

Celebrating its 7th year of bringing attention to the best contemporary dance in LA, Los Angeles Dance Festival (LADF) - this year partnering with the Luckman Fine Arts Complex and California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA) gives the community programming over a month's time - and an annual gathering place where the public can experience curated programs featuring the wide range of concert dance that is produced here.  LADF also offers ways for the public to participate directly with the creators who work in this vibrant art form.

The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm) will hold its annual fundraiser on Monday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI. GAMM GALA 34 will honor Steve Durkee with The David Wax Award for Outstanding Commitment to the Arts in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the arts in Rhode Island. This special evening also celebrates The Gamm's first season in its new Warwick home.

Jason Vass presents 'Metamorphosis' featuring new works by Douglas Tausik Ryder, a sculptor who uses both traditional techniques as well as cutting edge digital fabrication. Tausik Ryder is showing large scale works in wood and bronze, and related works on paper, which derive from depth psychology.

Mary Poppins is a very technologically intensive show, and like a lot of such works, it's easy to forget that there is more to it than the theatrical bells and whistles. So it's nice to see a production like the one currently playing at the PACE Center which, if it's occasionally a letdown on the visual front (the facade of the Banks family house lacks some of the bourgeois charm of the film, and the projected backdrops are a mixed bag), fully delivers on the heart of the story.

The first major gallery exhibition of the NYC fall art season opened at The Cavalier Gallery with a seminal show entitled American Realism: Past and Present on Thursday, October 22nd. Over 100 guests including collectors, critics, and many of the featured artists attended the opening night wine reception at the Cavalier's stunning and expansive fourth floor space at 3 West 57th Street. Though it stumbles on the romance, Inspire Creative makes the classic musical's deeper themes shine through.
