For one night only, Frank Ferrante will perform his acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in An Evening With Groucho at Walnut Street Theatre. The performance that Variety called "a Tour de Force" will happen on the Mainstage on Monday, February 27. Ferrante is also performing in Laughter on the 23rd Floor at the Walnut, now through March 5.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces the launch of the Professional Training Institute (PTI), an advanced actor training program for students in 8th-12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist. Participants will receive free training from some of the top theater professionals in the world culminating in a capstone summer performance where they will be employed as paid, professional actors. Support for this program is provided by funders of The Rep's new community engagement initiative Mpact, which is designed to further the theater's mission of creating positive change in the cultural, social and economic vitality of Milwaukee.

Actor/director Frank Ferrante who won acclaim for his stage portrayals of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in New York, London and PBS television returns to Australia for a 35 city tour in An Evening With Groucho beginning September 30th, 2016 and playing through November 26th. Ferrante will cover much of the country including New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria with stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. Frank Ferrante brings his one-man show to the Coachella Valley Repertory (CVRep), in the last of CVRep's summer 2015 cabaret series. 'Groucho,' as played by Mr. Ferrante, will entertain audiences for three performances on the weekend of August 28th through the 30th.

The 90-minute, two-act show, starting 7:30 p.m., will feature Ferrante as the wisecracking Marx Brother, delivering some of his most memorable one-liners, anecdotes and songs, including 'Hooray For Captain Spaulding,' and 'Lydia, the Tattooed Lady'- while popping out ad-libs a la Groucho at his wry best in his Emmy Award-winning TV quiz show, 'You Bet Your Life.'
